The helicopter service operates daily between Katra (the base camp) and Sanjichat, covering the challenging 14km mountainous distance in just 8 minutes. This remarkable journey saves pilgrims 5-7 hours of strenuous trekking while offering unparalleled aerial views of the sacred Trikuta mountains and surrounding valleys.
Katra Helipad: Conveniently located just 2km from Katra bus stand, easily accessible by taxi or auto-rickshaw. The helipad features waiting lounges, restrooms, and security checks.
Sanjichat Helipad: Situated at an altitude of 6,200 feet, from here pilgrims can take the 2.5km downhill trek or avail ponies/palkis to reach Bhawan. Sanjichat has basic amenities including a waiting area and refreshment stalls.
Helicopter services operate daily from sunrise to sunset, weather permitting. Flights commence at 6:30 AM with last flight typically at 5:00 PM. During peak seasons (Navratras, summer vacations), additional flights are scheduled to accommodate increased pilgrim numbers.
Each helicopter can carry 5-6 passengers per flight, with baggage limited to small hand carry items (5kg maximum).

Each passenger is allowed a maximum of 5kg luggage. We recommend carrying only essential items as large suitcases are not permitted.
Children above 2 years are considered as separate passengers and require full tickets. There is no upper age limit, but passengers should be in good health.
Flights may be canceled due to bad weather conditions. In such cases, passengers will be accommodated on the next available flight or provided a full refund.
Passengers need to carry a valid photo ID (Aadhar card, passport, etc.) and the booking confirmation. A medical certificate may be required for elderly passengers.
